My long time gifted co-writer Pete Colombo and I started our Nashville song writing journey back in 1999. I was several songs into my first album “LEAVE WELL ENOUGH ALONE” with multitalented songwriter and musician Pat Montefusco when fellow musician Pete Salvato introduced Pete Colombo to me (who was writing country songs at the time). Pete and I hit it off and immediately started co-writing and making trips to Nashville. We were concentrating on the Nashville market, mainly writing country songs, and thanks to manager/producer Howie Harnick, one of our top songs, THATS ALL I’M ASKING FOR, was adopted by Salute America’s Heroes, a non-profit organization that provides financial aid and support services to disabled American veterans. We found ourselves recording in some of the finest studios and had the pleasure and honor to play with some of Nashville’s finest session cats and engineers. We went on to successfully host Nashville style writers nights in several venues in New York and have cut and released several albums. As a drummer in Mountain Jam Orchestra, a premier Allman Brothers tribute band in New York, I had the thrill of playing for huge crowds and opening for legends like Dickey Betts and the Marshall Tucker Band. Along with founder and co-drummer John Laguzzi, we delivered authentic and powerful renditions of the ABB classics.
